Syria Issues Peace Conditions to Israel
According to an Arabic newspaper, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has agreed to sign a peace deal with its neighbor Israel.
He stated that he believes Syria and Israel will soon be able to exchange embessies.
The conditions regarding peace are two-fold. First, Israel must make peace with the Palestinians. This includes a two-state solution and withdrawal of all forces. The second, all Jewish people must leave Israel.
When asked if these two conditions can feasibly be met, the Syrian president stated, “If the Israeli people are serious about peace, then a deal with Palestine must be reached and all Zionists must leave. It’s that simple.”
